Lebanon’s exclusive hypercar for Qatar début

Lebanese carmaker W Motors has confirmed that its first supercar will have its public début at the Qatar Motor Show next year. The Hyper-Sport, as it is known, will be striking in design and exclusive in production – only five will ever be built. A Super-Sport version will follow soon after the Hyper-Sport is launched.

On a specification front, it is suggested that the Hyper-Sport will be powered by a 552 kW twin-turbo 6-pot engine mounted midships in the carbon fibre moncoque. 0-100 km/h will take less than three seconds – 2.8 to be precise – and top speed is claimed at 386 km/h. It also has an holographic display with interactive motion that, according to company founder Ralph Debbas, “gains years of innovation ahead of competition.”

The pricing is yet to be confirmed, but W Motors is targeting the Middle East as well as the Far East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
